Music Therapy & Psychotherapy Services

People who may not be able to experience other kinds of psychotherapies are often more open to the benefits of music therapy.
We are currently accepting new clients for private individual music therapy and psychotherapy services in Mississauga, Etobicoke, Toronto, Oakville, North York as well as group music therapy and psychotherapy at various health care settings including pre-schools, schools, long-term care, nursing & retirement homes, day programs, and community centres. Services are available in English, Polish, Russian


Population: children, adults and seniors.

The duration: Individual sessions last between 30 to 90 minutes, group sessions – 30 to 60 minutes.

Goals & activities: Therapeutic goals are formulated individually for each patient or group. All musical activities are designed to be safe and developmentally appropriate for the bodies, emotions, minds, and spirit of patients. We use various active and receptive intervention techniques according to the needs and preferences of the individuals with whom we work. These goals include, but are not limited to the following:

  • releasing muscular tension from fatigue, worry, anxiety, and stress
  • learning to live in the moment
  • initiating social interaction
  • facilitating social integration and communication
  • learning to express emotions to enhance a positive perception of the world
  • unleashing the highest potential

Consultation: free initial 15 minutes consultation.

Fee: $60-180

Insurance: Please contact your insurance provider for details related to your coverage for registered psychotherapy or rehabilitation services.

Payment: Cash or cheque payments are due at the time of the session. E-transfer payment is due before the session.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations and rescheduling, otherwise you will be charged for the full session fee.
