
Evelina Zoubareva
Evelina Zoubareva is a classical soprano. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she obtained a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance degree with honours. During her time at the University of Toronto she studied with renowned Canadian soprano, Monica Whicher.
Recent professional developments and performances include attending two summer programs. The first is SongFest which took place in Los Angeles, California where she participated in lessons and masterclasses with the prestigious American faculty including Amy Burton, Suzanne Mentzer and Javier Arrebola to name a few. The second was Orford Music Academy in Quebec where she had the opportunity to work with highly esteemed Canadian singers Nathalie Paulin, Benjamin Butterfield and pianist Francis Perron.
Alongside her love of performing, Evelina also enjoys inspiring and teaching music to kids and adults of all ages. She holds a Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Certificate. She attends RCM workshops to keep up to date and learn how to make lessons even more engaging. She has been teaching theory, beginner and intermediate piano and voice for over 5 years.
Evelina plans to pursue a professional career as a soprano in the various genres she has interest in such as early music, art song and opera as well as continue to grow her teaching studio.
Evelina has a lot of experience in working with children. She believes that music is a very important tool for helping a person grow socially, emotionally, academically and creatively. Her method of teaching consists of inspiring her students.
Evelina also performs often in charity concerts.
